Everything you need to know about applying for an Indian Medical Visa (MED Visa) as an international patient.
The Indian Medical Visa (MED Visa) is a special visa category for foreign nationals seeking medical treatment in India. It is different from a tourist visa and is specifically designed for patients travelling to India for hospital care. The visa is valid for up to 6 months and can be extended based on medical requirements. Up to 2 attendants (Medical Attendant Visa) can accompany the patient.
Contact your chosen hospital in India and request an official invitation letter stating your treatment plan, estimated duration, and hospital details. Bhuraro can help you connect with verified hospitals.
